Douglas S. Wilson

I am a 23 year old married dude who loves God, my wife, my ministry, skateboarding, and computer engineering in that order. I have been a Christian since a young age, and grew up in a Christian home. My parents taught me from a very young age that it is important to be able to think about why you believe what you believe. This has led me to continue to teach others what was taught to me: “Learn how to think. Not what to think.” – Steve Wilson

This phrase was true when I was growing up and it is still true, especially today in western christianity and culture. We rely so much on systems, the internet, and culture to teach us what the answers are. So much so that we rarely take time to reflect on the popular opinion that is put in front of us as “truth”. Until we learn to teach ourselves, our children, and our flocks to think critically about the Gospel, culture, and their commitment to God and His church, we can expect no less than a withering of doctrine, right reasoning, faith, worship, and most importantly, action.

I have attended churches who have been affiliated with different denominations such as Evangelical Congregational, Evangelical Free, Methodist, Brethren in Christ, Non-Denominational, and Christian & Missionary Alliance. In those churches, I have served or contributed in Bible studies, college age ministry, Sunday school, homeless ministry and/or missions trips. Most recently I have been involved with teaching a men’s Bible study and a small accountability group at a college Cru organization.

It is my goal that through this website that I correlate and articulate my beliefs  into a consistent worldview through sound exegesis and hermeneutics. Please consider each belief in relation to the whole, as well as each belief on its own according to Scripture. Let us walk together in grace and with one purpose, to one end.

Shalom! Thank you for taking the time to read through this.
